— Leonardo da Vinci

The course:
You will be guided by local artist and yoga instructor Althea Mallee to create your own unique piece of artwork by tapping into the inner guidance that vibrates from your soul. The workshop includes an inner journey with sacred sounds, a guided vision journey and technical training on techniques and methods used and applied by visionary artists around the globe. This painting experience will be a unique opportunity for you to dive deep into your own creative nature through exploration, fun and expression. After the course you’ll be able to take home your very own finished painting that you can then display and share with your loved ones. You’ll also receive ongoing support from an online community that will allow you to stay connected with your peers by sharing ideas, inspirations and insights.

The teacher:
Althea Mallee is an experienced and qualified artist and yoga teacher. Having always been inspired by surrealist painters such as Dali at a young age she later discovered visionary art and was captivated in awe by the artworks she witnesses from the master painters of this genre. After this enlightening experience she then set out to discover how to become a visionary artist herself. This mission then led her to study with highly skilled international and national visionary artists such as Amanda Sage, Adam Scott Miller, Christopher Ulrich, Joe Bob Merritt, Daniel Mirante and Katia Honour. Althea also continued her studies academically and holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts degree from Flinders University and majored in painting.
Her artworks are inspired by her dedicated yoga practice, meditation, esoteric studies and activism. Often painting otherworldly imagery Althea loves tapping into the unseen by connecting to the magic found in through visions, creativity and imagination. Many of her artworks are now in private collections and are sort after by various clients. Her portfolio consists of a diverse range of art such as book covers, logo designs, album covers, exhibitions, murals, screen printing, original designs, fan art and much more.
Althea is passionate about helping others and loves the positivity and healing effects found while painting. Her workshops aid others in overcoming obstacles and negative mind states by allowing for people to open up and use their imaginations, safely and freely through the expression of art.
