A gentle blend of the main traditional Yoga styles with subtle nuances of mindfulness meditation in a very laid back atmosphere.
Hatha yoga is about balancing the body, mind and spirit. With ‘ha’ representing the sun, and ‘tha’ the moon, and the practice of Hatha yoga aiming to join, unite or balance the two opposing energies of the Yin (feminine) and Yang (masculine).
This Hatha Yoga class involves a set of physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques, practiced slowly and with longer static posture holds than a Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga class. We close the session with a gentle meditation. This class is perfect for beginners and for those who are looking to dive deeper into the various layers of yoga.
