About the facilitators
“Empowering others to realise their potential, guiding them to focus on their path and perform their best is my motivation for working in this field. Seeing the results in others inspires me to seek out deeper and wider understanding of techniques to coach others. This enhances my abilities to help others lead more fulfilling, satisfying lives, one person and one group at a time.”
Heather has worked in the private sector, NGOs and in NPOs in various positions requiring her to lead, mentor and coach others. Through life-long learning, research and development, one on one coaching and facilitation of group programs, Heather has successfully led others to meet their true potential and improve their lives.
Heather is qualified and experienced in the fields of International Relations (with a key focus on Human Rights Law, Negotiation and Global Human Movement), Breathwork, Meditation, Neuro Linguistics Programming, Hypnosis, Timelining, CBT, Yoga, Mental Health First Aid and Human Resource Management. While living in Asia, she studied at the Graduate School of Law in Japan and while living in Australia, Flinders and Adelaide Universities.
Throughout her studies within psychology, yoga, meditation and hypnosis, Gigi became a devotee to a path conducive to mindful living and movement.
Gigi travelled to Rishikesh, India where she obtained her training in various forms of Yoga. Although her practice and teachings are inspired by a tradition of dynamic movement, she is a strong proponent of incorporating a steady Yin practice as a counter force to fast paced living.
Aside from a steady 7 year asana practice, meditation and her studies in psychology have also been a strong foundation throughout Gigi’s journey. In the last 3 years, Vipassana meditation, physchology practices and recent hypnosis training have provided her with new found clarity and stillness, merging practice with everyday life. This is what most inspires Gigi to teach and share the blessings of her learnings, by integrating these into everyday life, each day becomes a blissful moving meditation.
